All About that Easel Base for Craft Project Central

A while back I was asked to guest design a project for Craft Project Central.  My fun birthday project will post later this month and in the mean time I will be sharing the other designer's projects.  Today I'm sharing Regina's easel project!

Easels are easy, and they add interest (and convenience) to a variety of projects.  This ensemble features a handy calendar stand with a pocket for note paper that would dress up any desk.  There are two greeting cards—the first one features four easel panels to display four mini stamped creations—art and/or sentiment—and would make a pretty conversation piece.  The second card features a fun twisted easel.  Lastly, the generously-sized gift box (drawer style) has an attached greeting card with its own easel and a subtle, elegant decorative design.

You + Me = Twitterpated!

Are you feeling the love yet?  Valentine's Day is just 9 short days away and today I have a super fun and simple card to share (pssst...there's still time to make a cute card like this one for your honey)!

For this card I used the fun set You + Me from the Occasions catalog.  My favorite stamp in that set is the one that says twitterpated.  That's just such a fun word to say!!!!

I used the heart from the Owl Punch and some Real Red cardstock to accent the twitterpated!

What do you think?  Fun and simple, right?  Let me share some more pics.

Check out those cute little banners!  They were punched with the Banner punch from the fab Stacked With Love DSP (which you can get bundled with the You + Me set to save some $$).  I stapled them on with the awesome and easy to use handheld stapler (I am seriously loving this mini stapler!).

I used the Hearts framelits to cut a heart out of the middle of the white piece.  There's a little bit of the Dictionary stamp stamped to peek through the cut heart.  And, that whole white piece was stuck on with dimensionals.

This is such a great layout.  I can see it with any shape cut out of the middle...flowers, leaves, a circle, even a Christmas shape!

You + Me Mini Treat Bag

Hi Stampers!  One of my fav dies in the Occasions catalog is the new Mini Treat Bag Thinlits!  You get the die to make a super cute little treat bag AND a bunch of other pieces to embellish your treat bags.  With Valentine's day right around the corner, I had to use my fav new die with some fun Valentine's product with my clubs!

Super cute, eh?  We used the new You + Me stamp set (bundled with the fab Stacked With Love DSP stack) with the Mini Treat Bag thinlits to create our project.  Check out the close up of some of the fun details...

As I was designing this project, I realized that a Notecard size card fits perfectly into the treat bag!  So, I added a little notecard sized insert that could be used for a fun little love note.

You will definitely be seeing more mini treat bags....a LOT!  I am loving this die and have so many ideas for it!
